15 citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis awarded on National Heroes’ Day
Fifteen (15) citizens of St. Kitts and Nevis were recognized for their contribution to nation-building during a ceremony held at the National Heroes Park on National Heroes Day (Wednesday, September 16th, 2020).
This is in keeping with the National Honours Act, which established a trio of merit-based awards. The awards are: the Medal of Honour, the Companion of the Star of Merit and the Order of National Hero.
Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, in an address to mark the occasion, mentioned the names of the persons awarded.
