The month of May is slated as Community Development Month. In light of this, the Department of Community Development – Nevis is hosting a Slogan Competition.

Interested persons are asked to create a slogan with no more than 10 words that signifies what the department means to the individual as well as capturing its true essence.

Participants are limited to one entry and should be submitted to the department’s main office, at the Evelyn Henville Building, Main Street, Charlestown, or emailed to docd.nevis@gmail.com. Applicants name, address and contact number should be included with the entry.

The winner of the competition will receive EC$250. Entries will not be taken after Friday, April 11^th, 2025.

Additionally, the following day (Saturday April 12^th), the Department of Community Development will facilitate a LIFT (Learning Investment and Financial Techniques) Workshop. The free event will cater for ages 15-30 years and will take place at the Jessup’s Community Centre, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., where participants will learn about “Budgeting and Saving”.
