An accident occurred at the RLB International Airport’s Roundabout in Basseterre, St. Kitts, on Sunday May 28th.

A police spokesperson confirmed the accident to the VONNEWSLINE and based on information, the incident involved motor car PB 6372 driven by a resident of Cayon, and an unknown Suzuki motor jeep.

Lawmen said preliminary investigations revealed that motor car PB 6372 came to a stop at the roundabout, having travelled from the direction of Cayon. The unknown Suzuki motor jeep travelling from the same direction, collided with the rear of the motor car.

The Suzuki motor jeep left the scene of the accident, driving in the opposite direction. Sources close to the VONNEWSLINE say no fatalities were recorded.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
