The Department of Community Development will be facilitating an Agro – Processing Workshop in 2025, featuring the Nevis’ Agri Expo Patron of 2024, Mrs. Valary Ermaine Hendrickson.

Located at the Pond Hill Community Centre, the sessions will occur weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., commencing on January 21^st.

Persons interested in expanding their skills, by learning how to make items such as drinks, jams and concentrates should register on or before January 10^th, 2025. Registration is $50 and persons can contact the department for additional info at 469 5521.

Additionally, Nevis’ Agri Expo 2025 will take place on March 27^th and 28^th 2025, under the theme: “A New Era: Leveraging Technology for Sustainable and Inclusive Agriculture”.
