Alexandra Hospital’s wing project on hold, NIA “engaged” with international partners
In response to a question from the VONNEWSLINE about work on the Alexandra Hospital’s wing, Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, provided an update on Tuesday April 23rd and according to Mr. Brantley, work was expected to resume in May. However, this is what he had to say:

The $19 million project, funded by the Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation (SIDF) and the NIA (Nevis Island Administration), will include physiotherapy, pediatric isolation, laboratory, operating theatre and radiology wings. The Government broke ground for construction of the project on May 31st 2017.
