“All 911 phone lines are now fully operational”, the word from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF).
The police mentioned in a notice via Facebook on Wednesday Oct. 23rd: “you can now dial 911 from any phone line for emergencies, & all calls will be answered”.
It comes on the heels of a notice from lawmen on Monday Oct. 21st, stating the emergency line 911 is “currently unable to receive calls from cell phones in St. Kitts & Nevis”, while landline calls were accepted.
During that time, persons using a cell phone were urged to call the police headquarters at 465-2241 in order to be transferred at the relevant police station.
The Police Force expressed thanks to the public for its “patience, understanding, & continued cooperation.”
