The Program is primarily geared at augmenting support for citizens who are unemployed and have not worked from March 2020. Under the program, qualified applicants receive a monthly stipend of $1,000.
Owners of passenger buses who have been negatively impacted as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic benefitted from the Fuel Subsidy Program, provides a top up of $400 and comes under the umbrella of the 2nd stimulus package. Furthermore, a Disability Support Program, was put in place to assist households with children living with disabilities.
