Attorney General (AG), the Hon. Garth Wilkin provided this update about the proposed amendments to the SSZ (Special Sustainability Zone) Act:
This is in connection with the proposed Destiny Project on the Southern Coast of Nevis. During the Prime Minister’s press conference with his Cabinet Ministers on Mar. 30th, AG Wilkin explained further what the process entails with the Oversight Committee, etc.

Nevis’ Premier the Hon. Mark Brantley, announced in January that the NIA “sent approval” for the proposed Destiny Project to Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew in December last year. However, according to Premier Brantley, the information sent had to be done in a particular “format”, which was done in late January, then sent back to the Federal Government. Mr. Brantley, during his press conference also on Mar. 30th, expressed his views:
