A press release said that Jerod Robert Stapleton, also known as “Jay Bay,” of Ottley’s Village, St. Kitts, was gunned down on Saturday Apr. 18th, between 7:30am and 8am.

He had left his residence to visit his farm but upon arrival, he was accosted by one or more-armed assailants, who discharged firearms at his vehicle. Mr Stapleton sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the head and upper body and was pronounced deceased at the scene. This was SKN’s 3rd homicide for 2026.
