Persons across the federation and neighbouring islands will once again come together to celebrate and engage in the island’s Agriculture Sector, during this year’s Agri Expo which commences (today) Thursday.

The event will be celebrated under the theme “Promoting sustainable agriculture for a resilient future” and is expected to begin with the opening ceremony at 9am, after with attendees will be able to partake in the available produce and products at the farmers market, food court, food and technical demos, agro processing, and exotic zoo as well as cultural performances and the semi-finals of the Domino Competition.

The festivities will continue on Friday and will see the finals of the competition and the announcement of the department’s raffle winners.
