In the space of seven days, another earthquake was recorded near St. Kitts and Nevis. A magnitude 3.5 earthquake was recorded by the UWI Seismic Research Centre on November 17th, 2025, at 3:05 a.m. local. The event occurred at a shallow depth of 10 km, with an epicenter located at latitude 18.93°N and longitude 62.71°W.
Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis, was the closest felt, situated approximately 181 km south of the epicenter.
Other nearby capitals included Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, at 223 km northwest, and Brades, Montserrat, roughly 243 km north-northwest of the epicenter.
