As is customary, Wednesday, April 2^nd, 2025 has been declared a public half-holiday on Nevis.

This, as Deputy Governor-General, Her Honour, Mrs. Hyleeta Liburd, O.B.E., M.H., acted on the advice of the Cabinet of the Nevis Island Administration (NIA), a notice from the NIA says.

The public half-holiday will begin from 12 noon.

It comes on the heels of the BONI Ltd. and Gulf Insurance Ltd. Inter- Primary Schools Championship Sports Meet (Mini-Olympics), which is scheduled to begin at 11am.
