A police spokesperson has informed the VONNEWSLINE that the anonymous assailant involved in a Police-related shooting on October 11^th, is currently warded at JNF Hospital.

In addition, the perpetrator is under Police guard. The officer is still on duty.

A shooting incident occurred in Old Road, St. Kitts, on the earlier mentioned date between 11 am and 12 noon.

An officer shot a man in one of his legs after he had attacked a civilian and was advancing to attack the officer. The matter is currently under investigation.
