Home ownership continues to be a prevalent desire among the Nevisian public and based on projections relayed by Premier, Hon. Mark Brantley, the Nevis Housing and Land Development Corporation (NHLDC) will construct more homes in 2024.

In addition to the purchasing lands in Brown Hill for prospective home construction, Mr. Brantley provided this information on what the Housing Corporation has done for 2023:

For the period 2013-2023, NHLDC has constructed a total of 296 houses at a cost of about EC $69.5 million.
