Atiba Erasto Harris Sporting Complex unveiled in St. Kitts

The St. Peter’s Football Playing Field, in St. Kitts, has been renamed the Atiba Erasto Harris Sporting Complex, in honour of international striker and St. Kitts-Nevis national team captain, Mr. Atiba Harris.

This comes on the heels of a renaming ceremony, which was held in St. Peter’s, St. Kitts, on Friday Feb. 14th.

Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon Timothy Harris, joined the Area Representative for Constituency # 8, the Hon Eugene Hamilton and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Sports, the Hon Shawn Richards at the renaming ceremony.

Minister Hamilton expressed his delight on his Facebook page and stated “I am proud beyond words of this young man.”

Atiba Harris, 35, who hails from St. Peter’s, is one of the youngest national football players to represent St. Kitts and Nevis.

He is a professional footballer who currently plays as a defender for Oklahoma City Energy Football Club (OKC Energy FC).
