Lawmen seized one firearm in the area of East Park Range, St. Kitts, on Thursday May 30th, between 11AM and 12 noon.

Police officers from the Violent Crime Unit (VCU) of the Police Force collaborated with personnel from His Majesty’s Customs and Excise K9 Unit to conduct a search of an abandoned wooden structure in that area.

A police communique indicated that the search operation led to the recovery of a KAHR CT40 pistol, accompanied by a magazine containing seven (7) .40 calibre rounds of ammunition.

The Crime Scene Unit (CSU) processed the area, and the items were taken into custody. At present, no one has been arrested in connection with the fund.
