Autopsy report reveals Pemberton’s injuries during the Sept. 30th vehicular collision, not the primary cause of her death

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has provided an important update regarding a traffic accident that occurred in the vicinity of Pump Road and Government Road, Nevis on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.

 

According to the report, the accident involved three vehicles – motor car, PA1516, owned and driven by Ms. Monique Daniel of Maddens Estate; motor van, PA5523, owned and driven by Mrs. Sherina Pemberton of Cox Village; and motor jeep, PB4092, owned and driven by Mr. Recaldo Hendrickson.

 

An autopsy conducted by Dr. Adrian Nunez on Tuesday, October 14th, 2025, has revealed that although Mrs. Pemberton sustained injuries during the collision, those injuries were not the primary cause of death.

 

As a result of this finding, the police has confirmed that the incident will no longer be classified as a road fatality. However, the investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to gather and review all relevant information surrounding this case.

 

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is once again extending sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Mrs. Sherina Pemberton during this difficult time.
