Autopsy reveals cause of death SKN’s 11th homicide victim

The cause of death for SKN’s 11th murder victim for 2023 has been revealed, about five (5) days after his death.

 

 

 

Woney Richardson of Lower Monkey Hill, St. Peter’s, St. Kitts, was gunned down on Sunday May 14th.

 

 

 

A police spokesperson says Richardson, 21, left his home on foot, reportedly to purchase something from nearby, before 10pm. His companion, whom he had left at home, reported hearing gunshots shortly after his departure.

 

 

 

She left the premises in search of Richardson and later found him with multiple gunshot wounds about his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

 

 

Resident Pathologist, Dr. Adrian Nuñez, performed the autopsy on Friday, May 19th and concluded that death was due to Hypothermic Shock due to a massive Bilateral Hemothorax caused by gunshot wounds
