The Department of Community Development will host its 12^th annual Barnes Ghaut Breadfruit Festival on Saturday, June 20^th, 2026 at the Barnes Ghaut Community Centre, Nevis from 12:00 p.m. until.

The general public is invited to sample various dishes that will be made from breadfruit, such as: breadfruit chowder, breadfruit cake, breadfruit bread, breadfruit chips, breadfruit cheesy, breadfruit fritters, breadfruit scallop and more.

Entertainment and games will also be provided in the form of Domino games, breadfruit peeling, and drinking contests among others.
