Bilateral Agreement established between SKN and United Kingdom Hydrographic Office

The federation of St. Kitts and Nevis is officially in cooperation with the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO). This was established after a bilateral agreement signing ceremony on Monday, April 17th at the Ministry of Tourism St. Kitts’ conference room between the aforementioned parties.

 

 

 

The UKHO is a world-leading centre for hydrography, specializing in marine geospatial data to support safe, secure and thriving oceans and is hoping to promote safe navigation in the Federation’s waters through the agreement.

 

 

 

Taking part in the official signing was Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism et al., Ms. Tivanna Wharton and the United Kingdom’s National Hydrographer and UKHO’s Deputy Chief Rear Admiral Rhett Hatcher. Also present was Federal Minister of Tourism, Marsha Henderson who presented a gift bag to UKHO on behalf of the federation while the Permanent Secretary accepted a token from Admiral Hatcher.
