Body of 15-year-old Janelika Romney found in bushy area in Dieppe Bay, St. Kitts
Police have confirmed that the body of 15-year-old Janelika Romney of New Guinea was discovered this morning, Friday, June 27, 2025, at approximately 11:30 a.m. in the White Gate area, in St. Kitts.
She was found in a bushy area on a dirt road. Lawmen say the scene has been secured and a full investigation is underway.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has extended its “deepest condolences” to the family and loved ones of Janelika.
It comes about 11 days after young Romney disappeared on Monday June 16th. Selwyn Pringle, alias “Judge” of Dieppe Bay was arrested and formally charged on Thursday June 26th on two warrants in the first instance for the offences of Kidnapping and False Imprisonment, which were in relation to the disappearance of 15-year-old Janelika.
A police spokesperson confirmed with the VONNEWSLINE that Mr. Pringle is indeed the Godfather of Romney.
