Meantime, for the month of October and in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Nevis Public Library currently has a Breast Cancer display and the general public is encouraged to go and view the exhibition.

Chief Librarian, Anatasia Parris-Morton told the VON Newsline that persons can expect to see informative books on breast cancer prevention, symptoms, signs and nutrition. The exhibit is decked in pink and also includes a biography of a breast cancer survivor as well as quotes from other breast cancer survivors and doctors.

Persons are encouraged to view the display during the remainder of the month as the library is open to serve the public from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
