The Government of Canada has announced that Canadian officials will be in St. Kitts and Nevis from December 5th to 7th 2022, to carry out biometric processing for persons wishing to obtain visas.

As part of the visa application process, nationals from the federation must provide biometric information (fingerprints and a photo) when applying for a Canadian visitor visa, study, work, or temporary residence permit, and permanent residency. During the upcoming December dates, visa applicants may take the opportunity to provide biometric information in SKN rather than travelling abroad.

The exercise in question is geared towards nationals who anticipate travel to Canada, persons who have already applied online or by mail and have received their Biometric Instruction Letter and nationals of other biometric information-required countries residing in St. Kitts and Nevis planning to travel to Canada. Cutoff date for scheduling an appointment is Monday, November 28th.

Collection will take place from 8:30am to 5:30pm on all three days at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort. Persons can call the Federal Government’s switchboard at 465-2521 for more details.
