Care Packages sent to SKN students studying in Cuba
On Tuesday May 20th, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis – Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew alongside Foreign Minister – Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas joined stakeholders at the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in St. Kitts to oversee a shipment of supplies to students from the federation currently studying in Cuba.
The care packages included water, personal hygiene products, dry food, medical supplies, batteries and other supplies to assist students’ well-being as they undertake their studies.
The initiative was spearheaded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to a remark by Minister Drew, the initiative is a gesture of showing these students that they are seen and supported by the government.
