St. Kitts and Nevis is joining other CARICOM member states, in observing CARICOM Energy Month, under the theme: “Invest in Sustainable Energy: Accelerate the Transition”.
A panel discussion was held on November 21st on energy in CARICOM. One guest on the program, General Manager of SOL, Avery Mascoll, explained the significance of investments into renewable energy as well as economic impacts:

He also stressed the need for regulatory frameworks and policies surrounding sustainable energy to further develop such implementations in the federation.
Additionally, on November 20th, the India-CARICOM Summit took place in Guyana, where dignitaries representing CARICOM and its Member states met with the Prime Minister of India – the Hon. Narendra Modi. In attendance was Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Federal Cabinet– the Right Honourable, Dr. Denzil L. Douglas.
