CBI Dividend: SSB gives guidelines about contributors to Social Security who reside overseas

“Are you a contributor to Social Security and reside overseas?” This question is in relation to the CBI dividend. $23 million dollars were allocated for the payment the Dividend, which is the Federal Government’s fifth (5th) COVID-19 relief initiative since taking office in August 2022.

 

 

 

If your card is expired, you may upload the ID Page of a valid passport where the Social Security Card is unavailable. If your do not have a bank account in SKN, you may assign a payee by completing the Authorization to pay form available on Social Security’s website. To apply, visit www.socialsecurity.kn.

 

 

 

For more information contact the Social Security Board at 465 2535 or 469 5245. So far, over 18,000 persons have received their inaugural dividend payment, as of Dec. 28th.

 

 

 

The CBI (Citizenship by Investment) Program was introduced to St. Kitts and Nevis in 1984, but this is the first time such a policy has been established by any government administration. The proceeds are from the program but facilitated by the Social Security Board.
