“With immediate effect, the Common External Tariff (CET) on Condensed Milk, imported from Non-CARICOM Member States is 30%”.

So says a Memorandum issued from the St. Kitts-Nevis Customs & Excise Department, earlier this month. However, the CET remains at 0% for Condensed Milk imported from CARICOM Member States.

It comes on the heels of a recent decision of the 54th Session of the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED) and is in accordance with the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramus.
