CFBC launches its Alumni Association 

The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 held a Launch ceremony for its Alumni Association. 

 

The mission of the Association is “to Foster, Maintain and Support a mutually beneficial relationship between the Alumni and CFBC”. 

 

President of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC),  Dr. Jacqueline Austin gave these remarks at the Ceremony: 

 

 

Some of the objectives of the association include but are not limited to: “providing networking opportunities that increase alumni access to career resources and develop careers, expand professional connections and skills and grow personally and professionally; encourage Alumni to give back to their alma-mater to help with the further advancement of the College and having an alumni to help current students through scholarships; mentorship programmes; awards, advice and words of encouragement. 

 

Established in 1988, the then College of Further Education was mandated to consolidate and augment the opportunities for Tertiary level education in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

The College came into existence with the amalgamation of four previously existing institutions: the School of Nursing, the Teacher’s College, the Technical College and the Sixth Form.
