Challenges in Investigating Domestic Violence Cases, SVU says

As a result of the first Lockdown in March 2020, the St. Kitts and Nevis Special Victims Unit (SVU) reported an increase in reports of domestic violence.

 

In light of the current Lockdown, is there a similar pattern of an increase in reports of domestic violence and how is the SVU dealing with them?

 

Head of the SVU Unit, Ms. Consie Rogers stated that the incidents are still being reported on a daily basis.
