Renovations at the Charlestown Police Station commenced in 2023. The officers were relocated to the Winston Skeete Complex, on Low Street.

In late November 2025, Premier of Nevis, Hon. Mark Brantley, indicated that the contractor, LEFCO Equipment, confirmed that work had restarted, with only minor finishing tasks remaining. There were also “significant change orders” which resulted in an increased cost.

However, when exactly will the work be completed? Commissioner of Police (C.O.P), James Sutton, gave the VONNEWSLINE this response.
