The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has announced the official dates for this year’s Christmas Discounted VAT Rate Days. Shoppers will benefit from the reduced Value Added Tax rate on Friday, December 12^th and again on Saturday, December 20^th, 2025.

The popular initiative is designed to stimulate holiday spending, support local business and provide financial relief for consumers during the Christmas season. As in previous years, the reduced VAT will apply to eligible goods and services, including the purchase of vehicles.

The Ministry of Finance is expected to release additional guidelines to ensure businesses and consumers are fully informed ahead of the VAT days.

The Government encourages residents to take advantage of the seasonal savings while supporting the national economy during the busiest shopping period of the year.
