“Christmas in the Capital” to be held Dec. 4th to kick off Nevis’ Christmas tree lighting ceremonies

“Christmas in the Capital”, the annual event to officially start the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremonies across Nevis, will be held today at the War Memorial square, in Charlestown.

The event, which is also a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, will feature Mrs. Gloria Anslyn as its patron. The theme is: “The Whole World Rejoices”.

Meanwhile, the start of the annual “In the Spirit of Christmas” Programme hosted by the Department of Creative Economy, was held on Monday evening (Dec. 2nd) in Basseterre, St. Kitts.

“In the Spirit of Christmas,” which aims to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas – the birth of Jesus Christ, will showcase a wide variety of talents in St. Kitts and Nevis where individuals will come together to share the love and bring joy to many people throughout the season.
