Civil Servants, Government Auxiliary Employees or Non Established Workers, Pensioners and STEP workers on Nevis will also benefit from an extra month’s salary according to Nevis’ Premier, Hon Mark Brantley, in light of the upcoming festive season. The announcement was also made during Thursday’s (Nov. 17th) press conference at the Social Security Building.

This comes on the heels of the Prime Minister’s announcement on Nov. 15th. Commenting on the topic at hand, this was Mr. Brantley:

Categories of persons who will be receiving an Honorarium include: immigration officers, custom officers, NASPA’s frontline officers, dispatchers from the Ministry of Tourism, Covid-19 certified taxi and water taxi operators, Emergency Operation center officers, Nursing and auxiliary staff of The Alexandra Hospital, health centers and Mental Health Unit, and truck drivers and field workers at the Nevis Solid Waste Management Authority.
