Combermere Methodist Church to Host “Say No To Crime and Violence” March and Rally
The Combermere Methodist Church encouraged members of the public to take a stand against crime and violence through a Solidarity March and Rally on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025.
The event, which took place under the theme: “Say No to Crime and Violence,” began at 9:00 a.m. with a March of Witness from the Newcastle Police Station, proceeding via Rawlins Pasture to the Old Combermere School Grounds, where the rally took place.
Mr. Steadroy Pemberton extended an invitation to the public:
Reverend Steadroy Pemberton.
Organizers say the activity is meant to bring people together in faith and action, emphasizing that peace and unity must be the foundation of every community.
All are invited to attend and show support for the call to end crime and violence across the Federation.
