Saint Kitts and Nevis, officially the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis, is celebrating its 40th Anniversary of Independence.

SKN became independent on September 19th 1983. Independence Day is also a public holiday in the Federation, which takes place a few days after National Heroes’ Day, celebrated on September 16th.
