That was the voice of Community Advisor/Activist, Mr. Sam Williams speaking in light of the ongoing political situation in St. Kitts & Nevis.

Over the last few months, the nation has experienced a political impasse whereby a Motion of No Confidence was filed against the Prime Minister by Members of his Team Unity-led Cabinet, as a result, PM, Dr. Timothy Harris dismissed 6 of the 9 members of the Cabinet.  Elections are impending but no official date has been announced to date, inter-alia. 

In addition, two (2) members of the Team Unity Coalition namely, PAM and CCM have joined against the PLP (which was also part of the Coalition). 

Citizens and residents continue to wait in anticipation of the Prime Minister’s announcement as to the date of the Elections.
