May is annually recognized as Community Development Month. Here on Nevis, one of the projects that will be facilitated by the department is a “Community Cares Food Drive”.

Now until May 23^rd, the department will collect non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, and toiletries such as toothpaste, soaps, etc.

Donations can be dropped off at the department’s main office in the Evelyn Henville Building, in Charlestown, or the Jessup’s, Pond Hill, Franklyn Brown, and Charles Walters (Hanley’s Road), Community Centres.
