Thursday, May 1^st 2025, marked the beginning of Community Development Month 2025, under the theme: “Together We Grow, Together We Thrive – Our Community, Our Pride”.

There are several activities scattered throughout the month on Nevis such as a Food Drive, Church Service, Seafood Fiesta, Jumble Sale amongst others.

One other event is a Beginner’s Auto Body Repair Workshop. Acting Director of the Department of Community Development-Nevis, Denesia Smithen shares more information:

Acting Director, Denesia Smithen. The workshop is scheduled for Friday May 16^th and Saturday May 17^th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Pond Hill Community Centre.
