Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Mark Brantley.

 

Mr. Brantley made the remark on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020 and comes as the Nevis Island Administration (NIA), continues in its fight against the dreaded Coronavirus (CoVID-19).

 

The Premier mentioned that the NIA will have to forgo capital projects.

The VON Radio idea was conceived two years earlier by BVI Nevisian resident, Mr Merrit Herbert. In the early part of 1986 I visited Nevis just after some heavy rains which had set the ghauts overflowing and made the roads impassable in some areas. a dangerous situation indeed.
