CPS and CSS win Black History Elocution Contest

“Calypso Culture” was the theme of the Black History Elocution Contest, held by the Ministry of Education-Nevis on Saturday Feb. 25th. Education Officer at the Department of Education, is Ms. Shenelle Pemberton:

Ten (10) primary schools and three (3) secondary schools participated in the event. The competition also served as a way to instill local history in our youths.

The Schools that won, received trophies, each participant received a medal and the winners (or schools) of the segments will be awarded cash prizes.
