As the tourist season continues to progress, both St. Kitts and Nevis saw their respective share of cruise ship activity over the past weekend.

On Nevis, the island welcomed its first two cruise calls for the 2023-2024 season. The island welcomed the Sea Dream 1 on Sunday morning while the Star Flyer arrived around midday.

Meantime, the sister island of St. Kitts also welcomed a number of cruise calls including the inaugural arrival of Le Bellot, a member of the international cruise line, Ponant. According to officials from the Ministry of Tourism, the environmentally friendly vessel is a fitting addition to the cruise market in St. Kitts, where sustainability and eco-tourism are of the utmost importance. Its innovative technology and usage of clean fuel reflect the island’s commitment to preserving its natural heritage, coupled with the current Sustainable Island State mandate.

The next cruise calls for Nevis will be on December 10th which includes Sea Dream 2, Wind Surf, Club Med 2 and Star Flyer while St. Kitts will welcome the Emerald Princess (today) November 28th
