Curacao Delegation Visits St. Kitts to Strengthen Regional Business Ties

A delegation of public and private sector officials from Curacao visited St. Kitts on Sunday, March 1st, 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen regional business partnerships.

 

The delegation was welcomed at the Port Zante Arrival Hall by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of International Trade, Sean Lawrence, along with Director of Industry and Commerce Deidre Daniel-France and Senior Industry Officer D’Andra Smith.

 

Following a brief ceremony, the group was excreted to the St. Vincent and Dominica Rooms at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort for high-level discussions.

 

The ministry of international Trade says several local stakeholders participated in the engagement, including the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Manufacturers Association, government agencies, and financial representatives.

 

Officials say the initiative aims to create new business opportunities, strengthen private sector competitiveness, and promote sustainable economic growth and regional integration.
