Wednesday, April 13th 2022, was day 2 of the launch of the St. Kitts and Nevis’ NDC Implementation Plan by the Department of Environment in St Kitts and Nevis.
Presenting on the NDC Partnership Process to Support Countries Implementation Plan was Mr. Cayetano Casado, Regional Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean and a Member of the NCD partnership support Unit, explains how the Unit will assist SKN:

The agenda for day two included: the implementing and development partners discussing next steps for the implementation of St. Kitts and Nevis’ NDC Implementation Plan; identify interest of partners to provide implementation support; explain the initial partner process through the NDC Partnership and others.
According to unfccc.int, NDC’s are national climate plans highlighting climate actions, including climate related targets, policies and measures government aims to implement in response to climate change and as a contribution to global climate action. Central to the NDC is the concept of national determination.
