Construction of the Climate-Smart Hospital in St. Kitts is expected to move ahead rapidly following the completion of engineering modifications that briefly delayed the project.

Providing an update, Dr. Jenson Morton, Director of Health Projects and Strategic Initiatives, said the pause allowed engineers to redesign aspects of the hospital’s foundation to take advantage of geological conditions at the site:

Expressing confidence in the revised construction approach, Dr. Morton said the public is likely to be impressed by the speed at which the hospital will be erected once work resumes.
