DPM Leads Delegation on Official Visit to ROC Taiwan

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education et.al travelled with a delegation to the Republic of China (Taiwan) on Saturday May 6th.

 

 

 

The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) extended an invitation to the Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, for his first official visit to Taiwan as an extension of the State Visit by the Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew last year November. Saint Kitts and Nevis and the Republic of China (Taiwan) established official diplomatic relations in 1983.

 

 

 

During his trip, Deputy Prime Minister Hanley will meet with Taiwan Vice President Lai Ching-te to exchange views on bilateral cooperation concerns. SKN The delegation will also visit several schools, industries, a Wind Farm, an electric bus manufacturer, the National Palace Museum and other economic sites.

 

 

 

The Deputy Prime Minister leads a delegation of Government Officials which includes the Minister of Public Infrastructure et.al, the Hon. Konris Maynard. The delegation returns to the Federation on Saturday May 13th.

Hon. Marsha Henderson will assume the role of Acting Prime Minister in the absence of the Prime Minister Drew, who returns to the Federation on Wednesday May 10th.
