Dr. Williams of Stapleton Village, St. Kitts, was struck by a vehicle while walking along the island main road in the New Road area, between 11:30PM and 12 midnight ,on December 20th 2024. She was transported to the JNF General Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) issued a statement in January, saying the RSCNPF “is aware of unfounded claims circulating on various platforms alleging that Dr. Williams’ death was a homicide tied to recent public statements she made. There is no evidence to support such claims.”

Meantime, Leader of the People’s Labour Party (PLP), the Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris, was critical of how the situation is being handled. This he said during the Party’s press conference on Feb. 19th.
