Drivers reminded to refrain from use mobile phones when on the road

The federation of St. Kitts and Nevis is being reminded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force to refrain from using mobile phones while driving.

 

 

 

The topic stemmed from persons engaging in the dangerous practice who according to the force, not only endanger themselves but other drivers and pedestrians.

 

 

 

Using mobile phones when driving is against the law in the federation and persons can be fined as much as EC $2,000.00 if brought before the magistrate court. Informing persons on the matter was Sergeant Sophia Henry:
