The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) in observance of Financial Information Month (FIM) celebrated throughout October is using the opportunity to educate the public about being financially stable and secure.

The ECCB in collaboration with its partners will on Wednesday 23^rd October host a Business Symposium.

The event is slated to take place at the Red Cross Building on Chapel Street, Charlestown from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

This event which is one of many activities the financial institution has planned for the month, has as its theme “Plan for Uncertainty, Make Insurance a Priority”.

Topics that will be discussed at the symposium are Plan for Uncertainty, Understanding Insurance Coverage, Financial Protection for you and your Family, Weathering the Storm; How to Hurricane Proof your Property and Supervision and Regulation of the Financial Sector.

Financial Information Month 2019 is being held under the  theme “Financial Empowerment through Education”
