Efforts are ongoing to “save” boy child, Nevis’ Gender Affairs Minister says

The International Day of the Boy Child 2023 was observed on Tuesday May 16th. It is observed annually on May 16th and it creates awareness on the issues concerning the boy child. In addition, it highlights how persons can groom and mentor boys in order to have a gender-equal world.

 

 

 

It was founded in 2018 by Dr. Jerome Teelucksingh, a university lecturer from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

 

 

 

On Nevis, Minister of Gender Affairs, Hon. Jahnel Nisbett, said efforts are ongoing to “save” the boy child:
