Efforts to acquire World Heritage Site status for Nevis continues
In an effort to acquire World Heritage Site status, Member of the Nevis Heritage Committee, Ms. Susan Gordon, stated that Nevis’ Story will be told as a former Colonial and Agro-Industrial island in its past.
She stated that since General Manager of Brimstone Hill Fortress – Mr. Percival Hanley was elected to be a member of the World Heritage Committee on behalf of the Federation, an avenue for networking was created to further petition for more historical sites in St. Kitts and Nevis to be given World Heritage status.
